Now...Rain showers, associated with a cold front, will move through central New York and northeast Pennsylvania this afternoon. There could also be an isolated thunderstorm. Most of the rain will be light, however, brief periods of moderate to heavy rain are possible with any stronger shower or thunderstorm. Rainfall between 3:30 pm and 6 pm will average less than one quarter inch, but isolated higher amounts are likely.
