Now...An area of moderate lake effect snow will persist across northern and central oneida county through 6 am. A few heavy snow squalls will produce snowfall rates of around 1 inch per hour...Especially from florence...Westdale...And camden eastward to near route 26. The southern extent of the heavier snowfall should be near verona beach...Rome...And holland patent. Little or no snowfall is expected to impact the thruway in oneida county.
