Now...The short term forecast for western New York. Snow showers will continue across the region through the rest of the afternoon. An inch or less additional snow is possible through 4pm. Temperatures will also begin to fall back into the upper 20s as colder air continues to filter into the area from the west. The combination of snowfall and colder temperatures will produce slippery conditions on untreated roadways, especially overpasses, ramps and bridges.
