Now...Periods of freezing rain and freezing drizzle will occur across the southern adirondacks...Mohawk valley...Schoharie valley...Southern Vermont and the berkshires through 3 pm. The steadiest precipitation will fall north of route 8 in the adirondacks. Some areas will see a transition to rain as the temperatures slowly rise this afternoon through the lower 30s and into the mid 30s. Additional ice accumulations between noon and 3 pm will generally be up to a tenth of an inch.
