Now...At 809 am est...National weather service doppler radar in upton NY indicated the leading edge of a band of moderate snow along a line extending from westwood, NJ to lindenhurst, NY...Moving northeast at 50 mph. This narrow band of snow will be capable of producing a coating to around an inch of snow along with reduced visibilities of one half of a mile or less through 930 am. Motorists should exercise caution this morning.
