Now...An intense band of lake effect snow will continue to impact northern herkimer and northern hamilton counties through 2 am. The heaviest snow will fall north of route 28...Where white out conditions will occur with blowing and drifting snow as westerly winds will gust near 40 mph at Times. Additional snow fall accumulations of 4 to 7 inches will be possible through 2 am within the most persistent portion of the snowband.
