Now...Light snow will continue to result in slick and hazardous roads as well as reduced visibility the remainder of this evening. The back edge of the snow was approaching the northern sierra late this evening. Snow will taper over lassen and plumas counties by 1130 pm...And the Tahoe Basin and greater reno carson city area between midnight and 1 am. Motorists should drive slowly and allow extra time to reach their destinations overnight and early Tuesday morning.
