Now...Winter weather advisory today for 2 to 4 inches of snow... This afternoon across western and north central Nebraska...Light to moderate snow will continue to accumulate at The rate of 1/4 to 1/2 inch per hour. An area of heavy snow is expected to develop across southwest and southcentral Nebraska from broken bow south through north platte to imperial including Stockville. 1 inch per hour snowfall is likely in this area with visibility falling to 1/4 mile or less during periods of heavy snowfall. This snow was part of a storm system tracking through Nebraska today. The snow should end early this evening across western Nebraska.
