Now...At 830 pm cst...National weather service doppler radar indicated a broad area of light freezing rain covering much of western and central North Dakota. Surface observations suggest that most of the precipitation is not reaching the ground. However...In areas that do receive light freezing rain the subfreezing ground and air temperatures will cause the rain to freeze on contact. This will result in a thin coating of ice on all exposed objects...Including Sidewalks and roads. The precipitation should push eastward out of the area around midnight cst.
