Now...A line of showers with occasional thunder will continue to move through the piedmont towards the triangle through 10 pm. Wind gusts up to 35 mph and small hail are possible with this line of showers. Wet roadways May make holiday travel a little slippery especially along the i-40 and i-85 corridors and along us highway 64. Motorists should exercise caution to ensure their safety on the roadways.
