Now...Areas of light to moderate rain will continue to spread across much of the western carolinas and northeast Georgia through 500 am. The bulk of the rain will fall in a band of moderate to heavy rain that stretches from around brevard to forest city. This area will continue moving northeast across the North Carolina mountains and foothills with rainfall amounts of around a quarter inch possible. Elsewhere...Light rain will move in from the south across northeast Georgia and the upstate. Lighter rainfall amounts can be expected in these areas...Around a tenth of an inch or less.
