Now...Scattered showers and thunderstorms will move to the northeast across portions of northeast Louisiana...As well as central and south Mississippi. Frequent lightning...Strong gusty winds...And heavy downpours are possible in thunderstorms. Rainfall rates of over an inch per hour are possible in heavier downpours. Ponding of water on roadways and in low lying areas will be possible in these heavier downpours.
