The line will move east and affect western counties of Mississippi through 1 pm. It should move across the i-55 corridor and affect the jackson metropolitan area between noon and 2pm. This intense squall line has a history of producing rotation...Damaging winds...Hail and heavy rainfall rates up to two inches per hour. Out ahead of the line...Numerous showers and thunderstorms will move northward at 40 mph with heavier downpours in reach up to three-quarters inch per hour.
