Now...Through 10 am...A line of showers will move east at 30 to 35 mph across southwest Mississippi...South central Louisiana...And northern and western portions of southeast Louisiana through 10 am. The heaviest rain...And possibly an isolated thunderstorm...Will move across areas mainly north and west of lake pontchartrain where rainfall rates will range from around one quarter to locally one inch per hour. The rain will spread east across areas of livingston and st. Tammany parishes through 10 am. The showers will approach the new orleans area by around 10 am cst.
