Now...Winter storm warning in effect from 10 pm this evening to 1 am est Sunday... A few light to moderate snow showers will move into extreme western portions of Maryland and the eastern West Virginia panhandle this afternoon. Areas along and near the allegheny front will be affected by increasing winds...Dropping temperatures and periods of snow this afternoon. Gusty winds to 25 to 35 mph expected...Mainly in the higher elevations...With winds 15 to 25 mph down in the valleys. Snowfall of an inch or less is expected through late this afternoon. Heavier snowfall expected to begin later tonight and into the overnight hours. Use caution while driving through the higher elevation area with gusty winds and blowing snow reducing visibilities in localized areas.
