Now...Dense fog advisory in effect until 9 am est this morning... Dense fog will persist through sunrise. Visibilities below one- quarter mile will be common for many areas along and east of the blue ridge. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution when driving overnight...And be prepared for rapid reductions in visibility. Fog is expected to continue through tonight as the saturated air mass will remain in place.
