Now...Scattered light rain showers will continue to develop east of the blue ridge...And move eastward across the piedmont and coastal regions of eastern Maryland and northern Virginia early this afternoon. The heaviest activity will move through portions of extreme northern Virginia...And lower southern Maryland over the next couple of hours. Temperatures will remain steady in the low to mid 50s. Only a few hundredths of an inch expected with this activity through 3 pm.
