Now...A low in the gulf off of brownsville is allowing moisture to ride up and over a cold front that is stalled across the central gulf. National weather service doppler radar is indicating light rain and showers mixed in the gulf is moving northward and into southeast Texas and southern Louisiana. This pattern of advancement will continue through the overnight hours.
