Now...Areas of light snow continue to move northeastward across portions of south and central Mississippi...As well as eastern Louisiana early this evening. The most persistent bands of snow will be found along and south of the highway 84 corridor. Some light rain could also mix with the snow. Snow accumulations of a dusting to a quarter inch can be expected through 8 pm cst. Most of the snow will accumulate on grassy and elevated surfaces...Though slush on roadways could make for hazardous travel conditions...Especially on bridges and overpasses. Visibilities could be reduced to less than 2 miles in the snow.
