Now...Scattered to numerous showers with isolated embedded thunderstorms will continue to move northeast over much of the four state region. This is mainly affecting locations around and north of the interstate 30 corridor and locations along and south of an el dorado Arkansas to shreveport Louisiana to jacksonville Texas line. This activity will continue to increase in coverage so that areas in between will be affecting within the next couple of hours. Rainfall amounts will generally average between a tenth and a quarter of an inch per hour...With isolated higher amounts up to a half inch or more per hour under the heavier downpours of a thunderstorm. Gusty winds will also be possible with some of the stronger thunderstorms.
