Now...Through 8 am...Numerous showers will continue to move northeast at 25 mph across portions of east central and south central Louisiana...And the adjacent coastal waters between cameron and the lower Atchafalaya River out 60 NM. The strongest showers will be mainly southeast of a pecan island to lafayette line. Rainfall rates will be between 1/2 and 1 inch per hour. Also...A few thunderstorms will be noted over the coastal waters...Mainly between white lake and Marsh island out 60 NM. Occasionally lightning and heavy rainfall reducing visibilities below 1 mile will be possible with these storms.
