Now...Several bands of lake effect snow will impact northern Indiana and the adjacent counties in southern Michigan this evening. The most persistent band is expected to occur from benton harbor through elkhart to auburn. Visibilities in the snow bands will drop as low as a quarter mile in heavy snow and blowing snow with accumulations up to an inch in an hour. Some major roads that will likely be impacted include interstate 94 in laporte and berrien counties... The Indiana toll road... And interstate 69 between mile Markers 110 and 140.
