Now...A band of light to moderate snow showers across northeast Illinois will have snowfall rates of an inches per hour...Across the counties near lake Michigan west to DE kalb and kane counties. Snowfall accumulations will be from 1 to 3 inches in the heavier bands during the remainder of the afternoon into this evening.
