Now...Widely scattered showers will continue to shift rapidly northward through southeast Illinois through 900 am. Additional rainfall amounts will be less than a tenth of an inch. Accompanying these showers will be gusty south winds of 25 to 30 mph...With an occasional gust topping out at 45 mph. The heavy rainfall which occurred across the area over the past 36 hours has led to ponding of water on roadways with flooding possible in low lying and poor drainage areas.
