The rain is expected to become mixed with or even change over to snow by mid or late morning as temperatures quickly fall into the lower 30s by late morning. South winds of 25 to 35 mph...With an occasional gust topping out at 40 mph will continue into this afternoon. Motorists are still urged to use caution in flood prone areas today as the heavy rainfall of the past 24 to 36 hours has led to ponding of water on roadways with flooding possible in low lying and poor drainage areas.
