Now...Through 1 pm...A broken line of scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms about 40 to 60 nautical miles west of the collier county coast will begin affecting the nearshore waters of collier county within 20 nautical miles from the coast. Then as we head into the early afternoon hours the activity will begin affecting coastal sections of collier county. The main concern with this line will be brief periods of heavy rain...Gusty winds...And occasional lightning strikes.
