Now...Through 9 pm...An old frontal boundary continues to retreat slowly northward across east central Florida this evening. Along and out ahead of it widely scattered showers and perhaps some isolated thunder will continue to be possible. The stronger cells associated with this boundary will be capable of heavy downpours and gusty winds. This boundary will continue to lift northward through the late evening and overnight hours. The best chances for precipitation over land will be found along and just ahead of this boundary. Scattered showers continue over the coastal waters of the western atlantic...Especially off of sebastian inlet and northward to the east of the cape and daytona beach.
