Now...Good morning. The cold front which crossed central Florida yesterday is located across the Florida straits this morning. Morning cape sounding shows post frontal north to northeast winds from the surface up to about 3000 feet. Above that...Weak shallow southwest flow will produce multilayered clouds across east central Florida today with patchy light rain and sprinkles. Any rainfall will be light with accumulations of just a trace to a few hundredths of an inch. High temperatures will struggle to get out of the 50s across north lake and northwest volusia counties. Despite considerable cloudiness...Onshore flow south of the cape will allow max temps to reach the low to mid 70s. Small craft should exercise caution over the atlantic waters for north to northeast winds 15 to 20 knots and seas up to 6 feet in the gulf stream. Conditions are expected to deteriorate further tonight and continue Saturday.
