Now...Through 800 am...Scattered showers will continue to move to the west southwest at 5 to 10 mph from the atlantic waters towards the coastal and metro sections of southeast Florida. Most of the showers are occurring over the adjacent atlantic waters from north miami beach to boynton beach. Wind gusts up to 30 mph and heavy downpours will be possible with any of this activity. Conditions also remain favorable for development of waterspouts with these showers while offshore. Mariners should continue to remain alert for any special Marine warning that May be issued. Patches of dense fog will also occur across the metro areas of southeast Florida. Visibilities will begin to improve as the fog begins to lift after sunrise.
