Now...At 741 am est...National weather service doppler radar in upton NY indicated the leading edge of a band of moderate snow along a line extending from morristown, NJ to rockaway beach, NY...Moving northeast at 50 mph. This narrow band of snow will be capable of producing a coating to one inch of snow along with reduced visibilities of one half of a mile or less through 9 am. Motorists should exercise caution this morning.
