Now...A period of moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by embedded thunderstorms will quickly encompass the mid hudson valley...Catskills...Southern berkshires and northwest Connecticut. Hourly rainfall rates between one quarter to one half inch can be expected through 4 am. Temperatures will continue to climb through the 50s with a strengthen southeast wind of 15 to 25 mph with gusts over 30 mph...Especially over the higher terrain.
