Now...Northwest winds of 15 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow. The wind will be strongest in the foothills of larimer county. Blowing snow will to cause visibilities to drop to less than a half mile at Times in open areas. Temperatures in the teens will combine with the wind to produce wind chill readings of zero to 10 degrees below zero. Scattered snow showers will occur mainly over the higher west facing slopes.
