Now...At 850 pm...National weather service doppler radar indicated scattered showers associated with a cold front moving in from the southwest into northern California. Showers are located from modesto...To just north of sacramento...To portions of lake county. Temperatures are in the lower 40s in the valley...And in the mid 30s in the coastal range foothills. Expect isolated cold pockets with light snow in lake county...Especially near the town of cobb. These cold showers are expected to continue throughout the late evening. Motorists should slow down...And expect some ice on roads around 3000 feet in the coastal range...Especially over bridges.
