Now...Scattered showers will continue tonight throughout the valley and foothills and kern county mountains until around 200 am pst. An isolated thunderstorm cannot be ruled out. At 1142 pm scattered showers continue to move over much of the area. Brief heavy rainfall and gusty winds are possible. Motorists should take caution due to slippery conditions.
