Now...A band of light snow was centered along a line from surprise valley to pyramid lake to fernley to yerington at Mid evening and will continue to affect parts of northwest Nevada and The Basin and range through about midnight. Snow was ending in the greater reno and carson city area with only isolated snow showers expected the remainder of the night. Accumulations up to one inch are still possible to the north and east of reno including I-80 toward lovelock...Highway 50 from dayton to fallon and highway 95 north of hawthorne. While many areas will only receive a dusting... Motorists should remain aware that a few areas will receive a bit more snow and roads May become slick.
