Now...Scattered light showers linger across portions of north central and northeast Mississippi this afternoon. Rainfall rates are very light with only a few hundredths of an inch expected through the rest of the evening. Rain will taper off through the evening with even some clearing occurring tonight. However...Additional rain will move in across southeast Arkansas and west Mississippi overnight as a cold front slides through the region.
