Now...A band of moderate to heavy showers with isolated thunderstorms will track southeastward across portions of west-central Mississippi and far southeast Arkansas through 100 am cst. Rainfall rates of one-quarter to one-half inch per hour will accompany this activity...Along with brief wind gusts to 30 mph. The showers and thunderstorms are just located just behind a cold front that will continue moving southeastward across the region tonight. Winds will quickly become northerly and increase to 10 to 15 mph with gusts to 20 mph in the wake of the front.
