Now...At 11 pm... National weather service radars indicated an area of light snow continuing across much of northeast Oklahoma...With brief periods of moderate snow noted across far northeast Oklahoma near miami...Vinita...And jay. Further east...Light snow was reported across far northwest Arkansas with a rain snow mix into west central Arkansas. Temperatures further east have remained near or just above freezing limiting snow accumulations. South of interstate 40 patchy light rain and drizzle were being reported. Through 12:30 am...Light snow will continue to move northeastward through northeast Oklahoma...With snow ending west of highway 75. Visibilities will vary between one and three miles within the heavier snow bands. An additional one half inch to one inch of snow is possible across far northeast Oklahoma. Snow will also continue across far northwest Arkansas with isolated accumulations near one half inch. Slick spots have been reported on area roadways...Primarily north of interstate 40. A winter storm advisory is in effect through 10 am cst Wednesday for locations primarily north of interstate 40 in northeastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas.
